The laboratory and pilot plant of powder coating department started its operation in June, 1998 utilizing well-equipped and hig tech lab of powder coating.
At the time, lab scale initiated in this laboratory based on international standards of powder coating, and after evaluation of different systems in this laboratory, production line and R&D department started-up in May 1999. Since then, it produces and distributes wide selection of powder coating as per high international standards matching end-users demands.

- Polyester R-218
Polyester powders are based on acid functional saturated polyester cured with triglycidylisocyanurate (TGIC). The primary characteristic of polyester powder coating is its supreme color and gloss retention on external exposure. This system is ideal for outdoor usage. Polyester powders are suitable for application by electrostatic guns at 50-80 KV negative polarity. To obtain optimal properties it is necessary to pre treat the substrate prior to coating.
- Epoxy Polyester R215
Epoxy polyester powder coatings are based on the curing of a saturated polyester resin by an epoxy resin. These systems have excellent properties as well as high resistance to yellowing. They are mainly used for indoor application. Ranguin’s Hybrid powder coating is suitable for application by electrostatic spraying guns at 50-80 KV negative charge. To obtain optimal properties it is necessary to pre treat substrate before coating.
